Geocache Description:

Enjoy a secluded section of Mt. Falcon Open Space Park far away from the crowds. So far I've seen a wild turkey, lizzard and rattlesnake en route to this cache. Cache is 1.3 miles from upper lot as the crow flies. Make sure you have solid hiking boots and a lot of water.

Little Booger is named in honor of our adopted son, Kyle. Over the course of many years, Mtn-Tx-Agg88 (my husband) and I hiked the trails of Mt. Falcon planning for and waiting for the adoption to come through.

The cache is located near a spot we visited frequently to sit quietly and gaze over the mountains when the waiting grew unbearable.

It took five years for us to receive The Call from the adoption agency.

Two weeks after Booger was born, we took him on his first "hike" at Mt. Falcon. John (Mtn-Agg) carried him in a Snuggli on the Parmalee Gulch Trail.

Now, at the age of three, Booger trekked along with us to make this plant. He loves geocaching - especially when there are cars, plastic bugs and dinosaurs to find.

Since this cache is in a rather secluded, low traffic area, use caution and common sense while traipsing off trail. Take a different way out than when you went in. Avoid creating visible "cache trails".

Cache is quite small but not micro. There's a log and a FTF towlette of AVON Bug Guard which will come in handy for summer geocaching. Only very tiny objects will fit for swag.
Watch out for snakes!
