Geocache Description:

A nice hike in Hondo canyon.

I hid this cache while hiking on the annual Backbone Trek (visit link)

One of the more prominent features of Hondo Canyon is the many Bay trees. Hundreds of these beautiful trees were killed in the Old Topanga Fire of 1993, and the carcasses of the dead trees litter the hillsides. But the good news is that the trees have recovered with amazing speed and the trail is now lined with many healthy and fragrant specimens.

I don't usually hide micros "in the wild", but you should find this large bison tube easily. You can reach it from the trail.
