Part of a series placed near to village cricket grounds around the Alton area.
Wield Cricket ground is situated in the village of Lower Wield opposite the local pub.
It has an idyllic, bowl-shaped ground - ideal for watching the cricket. They play regular Sunday friendly fixtures against other local village sides.
The Three Castles long distance footpath runs along the south side of the ground. This path links Windsor and Winchester over 96km.
In 2001 the club published their own book on Teas: recipes and sandwiches which have delighted players over 20 years. I have to agree that I used to enjoy playing there, just for the teas.
