Geocache Description:

Congrats to shuman road searchers who at 6:21am were FTF it (now that's dedication) coincidently, as I write this, their cache count is also 621. Pretty cool - Nice work!!!
Parking is very close to the cache location. Perfect location to cache with kids, pets and pause for a snack. A great spot to practice CITO as well. Not a lot of muggles but hard to be stealthy when they are around.

Contents at time of placement 05/10/2009: IPOD Nano cover, ID Badge clip, Light up Bracelet, Glow in the dark Rubber Bracelet, Tire Gauge, One Time Use Thermometor, Jackie Robinson and Barry Bonds 3D baseball cards, CT/MA/RI map
I decided to deposit a new Geocache when I was out teaching a friend about the sport. Due to the location of the cache I wanted to come up with a name that played off of it. As I researched possibilities I began to focus on a certain book because it shared many similarities with the current situation. In the book, the narrator, Ishmael, goes out with a newfound friend on a whaling expedition, he does not know what will fall upon him. Throughout this tale, the crew on the the ship is searching for a specific White Whale. Their captain, had his leg taken from him by this whale, and now he is out for revenge. This book is filled with chaos as the crew tries so hard to find that whale and kill it. Granted we aren't looking to kill any whales, but you'll get it when you discover the location of the cache. This is an easy cache reminding you to not get caught up in the dangers of evil or revenge but to relax and enjoy the adventure. ****UPDATE**** On June 19th 2009 it was confirmed that the original container had been muggled so it was replaced with a smaller stealthier trinket free container at the same location. That didn't last long and I have since had to replace the container several times. On 06/04/2011 I replaced the container for the last time. Should it go missing again I will disable/archive it. This is a great spot and I'd really like to see care taken to make sure this piece stays in play. Please be aware of all sides and rehide the cache well so the fun can go on.
