Geocache Description:

This should be an easy cache and grab on Highway 16 on the way through Fort Fraser, B.C. Enjoy the view of the Nechako River passing through the Valley

Fort Fraser was established in the Fall of 1806 by Simon Fraser as a Trading Post. Fort Fraser was the site of the Last Spike for the Grand Trunk Railway, April 7,1914 (GCWMDT) Fort Fraser was also the first agriculture site west of the Rockies Close by: Beaumont Provincial Park is the site of the original Hudson’s Bay Trading Post (GC1EE43). Also near by is BC's shortest River the Nautley River. The cache is a small lock-n-lock with room for small trading items
