Geocache Description:

Just off the car park following one of the main footpaths it can get quite muddy. The cache is situated on a moderate slope about halfway between the path and the waters edge.( Not right under hawthorne this is to the side of the cache)

Went back to check that this cache had not been spoiled as quite a few not found, at first we thought it had gone too and was going as Danny found it.We think due to the amount of rain we have had the cache had sunk in the mud and was compleatly hidden, we cleaned the bag off on the grass as best we could so sorry if still dirty when you find but if the rain continues it will be clean soon. we have moved it by approx 2ft and hid under some twiggs and has been found 2 times already in new spot before we have got round to updating the records, so sorry to you if did not find we hope you will take the time to go back and should be quite an easy find thanks Cacheing Bratz

The Cache is a small cache in a camoflauge bag with log book and pen and some swaps for the kids. The cache is hidden within a bit of a natural hollow in the ground and should not be too difficult to find.
We left the cache one day while walking around the Flash which is either a brisk hour of a stroll or, with our kids, a four hour saunter. There is a free carpark within 0.3 miles of the cache or the main carpark is maybe about a mile away near the golf course. The main carpark also has toilets, a kiddies park, snack and ice cream vans and of course there are loads of ducks and swans etc so don't forget to take a bit of bread.
Good luck and happy hunting.
