Geocache Description:


This area is changing very quickly! We now have a new Scottsdale Library near this location!! This cache was placed in memory of the famous 'Rawhide Wild West Town' that used to draw crowds world-wide!! WE MISS YOU!!! The cache is placed right where the gun fights used to take place along Main Street!!

Recently they decided to build a new bridge to the west-- and a very large deep channel is now just north of GZ to accommodate the Rawhide Wash Drainage---- right through where the original Town of Rawhide was located. (See photos)
