A small lock-n-lock container, located not too far off the highland rail trail.
I couldn't believe that this beautiful rail trail had no caches on it. So I've planted a small lock-n-lock container less than 100 feet off the trail, to hopefully bring people to this great trail, and second (and maybe more importantly) to hopefully get more caches placed here. It is about 1/2 way between 2 of the parking areas along the trail so there is lots of room for more caches.
The terrain is flat along the trail and can be quite picturesque, bring your camera. There is a natural path off the trail and a short not to steep climb to the cache. The area will provide some protection from others passing by on the trail, but please be stealthy.
You may approach from either of 2 parking areas. The closer about 0.7 miles to the cache is at N41 44.038 W073 58.488. The other about 0.75 miles to the cache is at N41 44.189 W074 00.079.
