Geocache Description:

A large Ammo Box clearly marked. Placed to complement the fine series started by Krobro. Please do take the time to visit the other caches in his series. Please rehide the cache well with the plentiful materials available nearby.

You know... Some of us got into geocaching to complement our love of the outdoors and to take us to places we have never been to. A nice walk along a path. The nice views of a lake. The wildlife that is so abundant around us.

Something happened along the way. We ended up dashing from wooded cache to cache. Our spouses and kids lost interest in our mad dash. We stopped taking note of the beauty that surrounds us.

To hunt this cache park near my earthcache (Kettle Lake EarthCache) and take the trail that starts to the west. Soon you will be passing Horsecollar Slough on the right and if you look thru the trees to the left you can see Tomahawk Slough. There will be a wye in the trail and both trails will lead you to either of my Slough caches.

Grab the spouse and kids and reconnect with the reason we got into geocaching in the first place. Go on! Take a hike. :)

... and Slough Down!

FYI... I am playing with the pronunciation of the word Slough for the sake of a clever name for the series. The correct pronunciation of the word is ...

Slough also slew or slue
Pronunciation:\'slü, 'slau
