Geocache Description:

The small rail siding of Frampton, about 12 kilometres south of Cootamundra has some interesting history. The Frampton rail siding sign is now placed in a paddock 1 km from the siding to mark the spot of an unusual annual event.

Since 1949 ,an annual event takes place at the eerie site and a plaque commemorated the 50 th anniversary in 1999.The tradition started in 1949 with the names of O'Connor,Raleigh and Ryan and has continued ever since. The annual event does not involve trains and the plaque reveals all the information.

The cache is a 200ml sistema container hidden within its surroundings.Within the cache is a zip-lock bag containing a log book and pencil. The container is full of many swaps. FTF Honors :granny--nan.
