Geocache Description:

1 of 5 caches following the Scottish Rights of Way path from Kirkcaldy to Thornton, with amazing views of the hills of Fife from The Lomonds to Largo Law.

This trail runs from the back of the Mitchelson Industrial Estate to Riverside in Thornton and is part of the National Cycle Route crossing the A92. The path on the Kirkcaldy side of the A92 is flat tarmac while on the Thornton side it is a stoney, muddy path. This a perfect route to take a mountain bike for a trek. Even the bridge over the dual carriageway is bike friendly.

The trail can be done from either end with plenty parking at both. However if you plan to take in the views, it should be done from Kirkcaldy.

You will need to crouch to avoid the thorny tree.

*****Congratulations to Over The Fence on being First To Find*****
