Really there is nothing very mysterious about the black spot other than it helps solve the mystery of where the cache is hidden. I know how frustrating searching for a cache in a rockpile can be so I have marked the rock under which the cache is hidden to make it much easier. This will hopefully help when you are searching among the multitude of large stones which line the side of this trail. Cache is just off the McGeachy Pond Trail. There is no need to climb down onto the larger rocks by the lake to find this cache . The container is a small bison tube containing only a log. Bring your own pencil. After you have found the cache enjoy the nice hike along the rest of this beautiful lakeside trail.
