This cache is located near the Historic DNR Fire Tower, east of Pequot Lakes on Cty Rd 11. The cache was a part of a summer event and contains a log book and pencil, and may still have a few Paul & Babe’s GeoHunt collector cards (which were unique to this site).
The 2009 Paul & Babe’s GeoHunt has concluded for the summer. Thanks to all who participated!
Luckily, this cache will still be available through fall. The winter snowfall in the Brainerd Lakes Area will probably prohibit the cache, but we’ll disable it when that time comes.
The collector cards from Paul & Babe’s GeoHunt may run also out, so if you find the cache and there are no cards, don’t despair. You can still earn cache credits for this find.
Paul & Babe’s GeoCoins are also no longer available for geocachers who find a set of 12 cards, but you may find a coin or two as swag in other caches.
Another GeoHunt will be planned for 2010. Check back to geocaching.com or visit PaulBunyanScenicByway.org for information after the first of the year.
