Geocache Description:

Join Osage County and the City of Lyndon in their first Geocaching event. At the Lyndon Community Building

This event is held in conjunction with National Get Out Doors Day. The City of Lyndon would like to invite you to explore Osage County's Hidden treasures. Come explore over 461,076 acres of land. Two beautiful Lakes encompass 32,000 of these acres. You will have the opportunity to enjoy rivers, creeks, and the tall grass prairie of the Osage Questas region! This is an adventure you will not want to miss. There have been so many hidden treasures in Osage County awaiting to be appreciated. Geocaching is a way to share them with the world. Osage County is rich with natural resources and history. I have been working with some experienced geocachers when placing these caches and I promise that you will enjoy your day in Osage County. There are fun family orientated activities planned at both Melvern and Pomona Lake. Please visit Eisenhower State Park (Free entrance to the park on June 13, 2009) at 7:30pm for an evening of live entertainment.
