WW7 “the Beehive” Traditional Cache

Westfarthing Wander 7, Seventh in a series of caches out beyond the LOTR caches on the Helm, accessed from the Old Hutton road out of Kendal
Once over Strickley Beck the three houses forming the settlement of “the beehive” are just over Beehive bridge and beyond “Beehive Lane” but for those who have combined Sunday Stroll with Westfathing Wander a brief moment of déjà vu lies over the stile just beyond. Either the brother of the Syphon well building, passed a mile back is built in this field or it has flown, tardis like, through time and space to this new location. Should you follow this indistinct footpath SW it leads through the Helmside Farm and via a gate on the helm back road, back up onto the Helm with its 7 excellent Lord of the rings themed caches.
