This is an ammo can, within 100 yards of parking.
This is a campsite that I spent many an October during deer hunting season while growing up. It's been quite some time since I came up here, and it looks a lot different, and at the same time, exactly like I remember it.
There used to be a 8X8 barbwire fence area that the spring flowed out of, they've upgraded to an upended culvert now, not nearly as pretty.
The level area below the spring is due to much of my elbow grease. I remember backing our trailer in there for the couple of weeks each year and working to make it just so level to the satisfaction of my mom.
The sign looks exactly the same, but my viewing angle is a little different. I was about 4 foot nothing the first time I saw it. Love this place, and I hope you do too.
