Geocache Description:

An hour and a half roundtrip For a fit individual through lower hatcher pass meadowy hill terrain, Best done early season due to vegetation which will make this miserable by the middle of the summer

Captain Kaboom and the Full length New Meadows Jackoholic All Stars. Park at the sledding parking lot adjascent to the day use area by the little su. Walk up to the parking lot and follow a moose trail up a ridge above the lot stay on this trail as it holds its elevation going in the same direction as the river below. When you see an incongruous and distinctive solitary large pine tree start heading uphill through a meadowy broad clearing between the alders. Near the top of this clearing find a solitary clump of alders youre there. Clear cylinder container, pencil/logbook and a bunch of coins from my last trip to Denmark, which you can feel free to "Jack" in the urban vernacular sense of the word.tops out at around 2300 feet decent amount of elevation gain but not real steep no real trail past the pine tree, sort of a middle middle type of trip. You can find Meadows near the beginning of this trip. Might be a bit much for dogs and kids depending.
