Important spring 2025 update- a bird found the cache area a perfect spot to make her nest. Please dont disturb her (she scared the crap out of me!)! Simply stopping at the location and posting a picture of the road sign can serve as your found log temporarily! The poison is also beginning to grow. Enjoy the drive on Scalpy Hollow Road, and make sure to check out the creek at the nature preserve nearby!
Quick and easy find at the end of a beautiful road. Log only - bring your own pen!
Please watch for traffic traveling on River Road. There is parking for at least one vehicle within feet of the cache. This is intended to be a quick grab and go, so don't make it harder that it actually is! Coordinates were taken 3 different times so should be fairly accurate. You do not need to walk behind guardrail.
8/28/10 - nano magnet was lost - replaced with a bison tube at same coordinates.
