Badge: Classic Rock 101 #2 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Jennifer&Dean: Recurring issues with the string hanging the bison from the bridge, local kids may have discovered it. Going to archive and let someone else hide something here. Or we might at a later time.

Geocache Description:

**Adopted by Jennifer&Dean on Nov. 22, 2010. Thanks to dwarvenfriend for going through the work of setting it up.**

Not for kids or the faint of heart!

This is a well concealed bison capsule hidden on a well used pedestrian and bike bridge. I tried to get these coordinates spot on but they may drift a little bit.
Please be very careful when recovering this cache! The owner takes no responsibility from injuries sustained when YOU are trying to recover this cache. With that in mind good luck! You'll need it!
This is the second cache in a series of classic rock and roll themed caches. The caches are named after some of my favorite rock songs. While the name, at times, might offer a hint, other times it will only be a tribute to the original song. I hope you enjoy the cache and the trivia I'll be providing from time to time.

The record now spins: Badge

This song is one of my all-time favorites! Badge is the 4th song on Cream's 'Goodbye' album. The title is decieving, as badge is nowhere to be found within the lyrics, nor does the song have anything to do with anything related to the word badge! So where does the title come from?
One story goes that as George Harrison was writing the guitar chords, he annotated one section as "BRIDGE." His writing was so bad that Clapton or perhaps Ringo Starr mistook for "Badge." The name stuck.

Cheers and Good Caching!
