You Do NOT need to move anything to find this cache! This cache
is a small tupperware container 2.75x2.75x3.5 inches.
It contains only a logbook, and a couple small items we threw in.
BYOP!! Maybe room for geocoins, but travel bugs will be a tight
fit. It is hidden very well. And we ask you to make sure you rehide
it very well, so others can enjoy the task. The cache is located on
East Main St. in Brookfield, Ma. once the "Boston Post Road" from
New York to Boston. Below is an exerpt explaining the markers. This
is just a "random" backroad cache, we are experimenting with our
hides, let us know what you think. Seems to be a tough hide for
some. :)
There are now 3 caches on this road, so make sure to check the
bookmarks.
In 1763, while deputy postmaster, Benjiman Franklin was assigned
the task of placing a marker at one mile intervals along the Boston
Post Road. The Boston Post Road was established as a permanent
highway in 1639. It ran from Boston to New York City, at the time a
distance of two hundred fifty four miles.
