On Old Hiway 97 South of Malott. The Road going up the hill is an old old Horse trail used by the Indians for 3500 years or more.
A historical marker marks the location. Like almost every where around here, you must use caution, be ware of snakes and the like. Be sure to read about this long used trail. I am not sure if you can still get all the way over to the Methow Valley on this road .Last time I tried they had it shut off and were logging the area really hard. They are working on the road south of here for a long ways and looks like they are going to be done maybe next fall, I would go back north to Malott and go out to the main hiway that way. While you are here be sure to go up the hill to get the cool one at Chillowist Trail GC1TY5E
