Geocache Description:

Type: TCDNSK Direction: East&West RV Access: Yes

A quick multi-stage cache in a town that's for the birds. Drive up access at 2/5 stages, others are within steps of vehicle range.

Welcome to Morse!

This multi will take you on a short drive to some of the highlights of a great Saskatchewan treasure – the town of Morse. At each location you will find the answer to our Morse Trivia question. Plug your answer into the formula to find the coordinates for the next stage.

For those interested in birdwatching, this is an area you won't want to miss. Morse is located adjacent to a Western Hemispheric Shorebird Reserve Network Site that includes Reed Lake, Chaplin Lake, and Old Wives Lake. More than 30 species of shorebirds, some endangered, stop in or nest at this site. What birds can be seen? Sanderlings, Stilt Sandpipers, American Avocets, Semipalmated and Baird's Sandpipers, Killdeers, Long-billed Curlews, Marbled Godwits, Dowitchers, the endangered Piping Plovers, and many, many others. 'GCMYFE – Birds, Saskatchewan' and 'GC18867 – Who farted?' are two other bird friendly caches along this WHSRN site.

If you have extra time, there is a second cache in Morse, two excellent restaurants, and a national award winning museum tucked away on the West side of town. Enjoy!
