In memory of unfulfilled youth, this cache was placed near a
popular local hangout - the town recreation centre.
March 30, 2009 - "Three teen girls are dead and a teen boy
injured after a crash in southern Saskatchewan Saturday night. At
about 10 p.m. Saturday, RCMP were called to a collision site at the
intersection of Highways 13 and 19, near the east entrance to the
Village of Kincaid. Police say two vehicles were involved in the
crash, and were both travelling east when the collision
happened.
Two teen girls were pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics
took a third girl to hospital in nearby Gravelbourg, where she was
later pronounced dead. All three girls had been travelling in the
same vehicle. Two of them were 16-years-old, and from Gravelbourg,
and one was a 14-year-old from the Kincaid area. The driver of the
second vehicle, a 17-year-old boy from Kincaid, was also taken to
hospital in Gravelbourg with undetermined injuries. He has since
been released. RCMP continue to investigate the crash. Kincaid is
about 260 kilometres southwest of Regina." - Saskatoon Star
