After the great weekend we had last year at PopUpPirates event we
decided to grab the field for the last camping bank holiday of 2009
before it gets booked by
others
There is even a friendly farmer available to tow you off the
field if you get stuck like we did LOL
3 nights of camping
£10 per pitch per night no need to pre book with owners but please
add a note to cache page so we can keep the owners updated with
figures etc.
Tents and caravans motorhomes allowed but the site is very
basic.
Limited electric hook up but we are allowed to piggy back
it.
There is a new toilet and shower block on site this year, we have
not seen it but the pirate one says its ace.
As there is limited space for cars we will be borrowing (stealing)
Pups idea of going to the Rivington barn (top)( N 53° 37.496 W 002°
33.379) on the Sunday (30th)at 1pm for non campers so they can log
the event. Check the toilets out as they are rather posh with the
dyson hand dryers LOL
Wellington boots come in handy at times. What has Pup seen that
has made him got blind?
