in our disclaimer.
It is best to park on Kensington Place off Chepstow Road, you can drive straight up, park at/near the top of the road and walk into the park. The cache is accessible from a tarmac path, just a step up and a few paces across the grass, it could be a little slippy when muddy/wet but we haven't had any problems.
This cache is dedicated to our dog Wag, who enjoys a walk in this lovely park. The park has a great view out over Newport and was originally the site of Gaerwood House which was razed to the ground during World War 2.Both the owner and the housekeeper were thought to have died in the air raid.
The cache is a small box, slightly larger than a film cannister, with room for small items, TBs/geocoins. There is a log and pencil inside.
The park is a popular place for dog walkers, so watch out for geomuggles.
