Geocache Description:


A small micro on the forth bridge built here over the north arm of the Wollombi brook.
The first bridge was washed away in 1867 and replaced in the 1870s. Bridge no3 was built in 1934 and became the longest bridge in the Hunter region at 165 metres but sadly the bridge was removed in 2005
