Geocache Description:

Should be an easy find in the Armadale Flora Reserve.

Due to the temporary nature of pens and pencils in my geocaches
BRING YOUR OWN WRITING IMPLEMENT!!!

Back in March 2008 I visited Mal of 3BlindEyes at his home in Armadale, to collect some geocoins he'd been kind enough to buy for me. While there he suggested that I place a cache nearby that he could use to launch his coins. The only cache nearby, flora frolic by zigolphin, was too small to suit his purpose.

Of course I agreed, and the following Tuesday I ventured out to his area and identified an excellent piece of park suitable to place a cache. I returned there the following Friday armed with a 3 litre rectangular cliplock container, stocked with finders cards, log book etc, and some swaps, and was just in time to witness a Caterpillar (I think D6E or similar) dozer demolishing the last vestige of bush in the bushland .

A week or two later I hit the container and log book with the white spirit and cut up the finders cards, and said to myself "I'll have to find another spot for the cache when I get a Round TUIT". Of course a month later I headed off Wandering Australia on my regular Climatic Refugee 6 month long trip, and forgot all about finding that Round TUIT.

At the WA Caching Birthday Bash - Albany 2009 by tangowithcupcake on 1 March 2009 I met Lyn and Pat of Lyn Pat and Nathan, Western Australia's "founding geocachers", for the first time, and discovered they also lived in Armadale. Of course that reminded me of my need for a Round TUIT, so I very quickly (less than two and a half months) overcame my propensity for procrastination and obtained a very serviceable Round TUIT.

Under special license I have been able to provide a supply of Round TUITs. Please use these with caution, as they are known to be injurious to procrastination.

The cache is a drab camouflaged 150 mm high x 90mm diameter round screw top container (former fruit container), with log book, finders cards, Round Tuits, pen, two pencils, sharpener, and a selection of swaps. It is hidden at the end of a fallen log, concealed by log debris.

I recommend parking at Armadale Aquatic Centre at S32 08.029 E116 00.220.

This cache is part of a series leading towards my GC1RN04 WanAus 103 - Bonus Box cache. There is a BB number in the back of the log book. You will need to record this number in the format 95? (from WanAus 95 and ? for the BB number) for future reference.

This is just a suggestion, but it may help you to keep track of the BB numbers.
Every cache page has "*Personal Cache Note" *Click to enter a note, just above Geocache Description:
You could either add the code to each individual cache, or add all numbers to GC1RN04 WanAus 103 - Bonus Box.

When trading items please consider trading up or trading even and leaving items that you would want to find, and please don't take the pen, pencils or sharpener. If you can't trade up or trade even I don't mind seeing TNLNSL in the log. Also please don't put the pen or pencils in the log book bag, it tends to destroy the watertight integrity.

Trackables (geocoins and travel bugs) are not tradeable items. Please feel free to take them without making a trade, but please leave a note in the logbook and your online log, and do log them online.
