A cache along the Severn Way, a short walk across ‘Shelton Rough’ in Shrewsbury.
It’s public footpaths all the way, and the shortish route covers common ground and the edges of fields – footpaths are all signed with stiles in place.
Part of the path runs along the edge of a rise that overlooks the river, it’s a lovely view – but it’s a pretty steep drop! There are fences in place most of the way…but keep one eye on small (and big) geokids!
Park at recommended co-ords and head two hundred yards along the pavement until you pick up the signpost for the Severn Way/Bridleway on the right. Cache is around 0.4miles from the parking spot.
The cache is named as AP was away in Verona for a week, and we decided to place a new cache that we could walk to from home.
Cache is a medium sized container in a camo bag.
Beware of dog walking muggles who can appear from nowhere!, and please re-hide with care, thanks.
