This kid friendly mystery cache is located at The Frelinghuysen Arboretum, this cache replaces the original Whippany Farm cache GCQGA4, placed 9/9/05.
The Frelinghuysen Colonial Revival Mansion is fashioned after an English Country Estate. Loacted on 127 acres, this Morris county park now serves as the headquarters to the Morris County Park Commission. This majestic property, which was once named Whippany Farm is listed on the State and National Register of Historic Places. The Arboretum has many beautiful formal gardens and walking trails throughout the forest and meadows. The Arboretum is open all year to enjoy the changing seasons. Trail maps are available in the education center, well as maps to other Morris County Parks. The grounds are open 8am to Dusk. The published coordinates take you to the Whippany Farm Mansion. You must complete the puzzle below to acquire the coordinates to the final stage. The answers to the puzzle can be found around the Mansion. The last question is a nice spot to sit and complete the puzzle. The final stage is lock & lock container with logbook and trade items.
