We have done this bike ride several times over the years and have always found the folks in this small community friendly and welcoming. As a chance for this team to show our appreciation and commemorate this fun occasion, we are placing this cache in hopes of enticing more folks into discovering this little hidden community of eastern North Carolina for themselves.
If you enjoy peddling a bike, this annual event has rides of 25K, 50K, and 100K biking routes throughout Southern Halifax County. The first time we attended this ride there was only about 35-40 people in attendance. This year, there were well over 100 riders participating.
Thanks to the everyone who worked so hard to make this event so much fun. And thanks for allowing us to spend a few days in your community.
