Petit Pois Traditional Cache

This cache forms part of "All the P's", a woodland walk through Kenley.

The series will be released over the coming months until the FTF's have been achieved.

Once they've all been found, this description will be updated.

For this series, the largest containers possible have been used for each cache.

This cache is located within Betts Mead Recreation ground. The paths are natural with some gravel and can be rather muddy in wet weather. They are not suitable for buggies but are fine for walking children.

Betts Mead was a gift to the Council in 1925 from F. Betts Esq. There was stipulation in the Conveyance that Bylaws were set up ensuring that no public meeting for the discussion of political, religious, trade or social questions or other matters of controversy shall be permitted. Luckily no restriction on geocaching was specified!

Free parking is available in the pub car park opposite The Wattenden Arms in Old Lodge Lane (the Hayes Lane end). If this car park is closed, please park considerately and safely in the road. Refreshments of both food and liquid variety are available in the pub.
