On rock ledge up a short, steep slope.
Did a robin really build a nest here? And lay an egg this size!? And red instead of blue? You can get here from the Mt. Oly parking area by following the faint trail to the south 0.1 miles south of the $million view cache (gcj1gd) or by parking on Wasatch Blvd where the chain link fence angles up the hill and the trail comes down to the road, or just Bunker Dave up the hill. The nest is tucked into a small "cave" near the top of a tree. Watch your step on the narrow ledge.
