Geocache Description:

This is the first in a series of caches which form a circular walk of approximately 3 miles. Inside the cache you will find coordinates for the Herongate Bonus.
The route covers official footpaths - through mainly farmland. The whole walk can be completed in around 1¼ Hours and between Herongate (3) and Herongate (4) you will pass Creasey's 1 (GC1NVHX) so you can find this cache as well if you have not already done so.

Some of the locations were difficult to pinpoint a definite GPS signal - so the coordinates might be slightly astray. However, the cache hides are all on, or just off the official footpath and with the clues should be relatively easy to find.
You will find some of the footpaths are narrow with tallish grass alongside, and if the grass is wet you will get wet trouser bottoms, and some of the paths will get very muddy after heavy rain. For this reason I do not recommend buggies to be taken on these routes, but dogs will love it!!!!
This is my first series of caches and I hope you enjoy them. I am very eager to learn from feedback (both positive and negative) so future caches can be made even better.
Parking
There is parking nearby in Cricketers Lane near to the ‘Green Man’ Public House which will be very handy if you fancy some liquid sustenance after your walk, (coordinates - N 51° 35.753 E 00°21.053). The start of your journey for this series is a public footpath commencing (N51° 35.803 E 00°21.034)
The cache is a small container whereby small travel bugs and swops will feel very much at home. As this is my first series of caches I have left something extra special for the FTF in the Bonus Cache.
