Whangamarino Walkway (Waikato) Traditional Geocache

Whangamarino Walkway

This is a micro cache located a short distance along the Whangamarino Walkway. Perhaps a quick pitstop on your way north or south.

There is also an interesting structure located nearby - a flood gate of some kind. Not sure if it's to prevent flooding into the Waikato River, or from the river into the wetlands.
