Background
Myst is a graphical computer adventure game that was created in 1993 by the brothers Robyn and Rand Miller. When Myst came out, it was revolutionary; stunning graphics and sound were combined with an intriguing background story in a mysterious world. There were no explanatory instructions to the player, you just had to start exploring Myst Island by yourself.

There are 5 Myst geocaches in this series. It is absolutely NOT necessary to have played the Myst computer game in order to take this series! (But if you've never played any of the Myst games, I highly recommend doing so because it is great fun!)
