Geocache Description:

You’re looking for a sandwich size Lock-N-Lock container. The cache contains a new Geocoin that has never been activated as a First-To-Find prize. Please bring a pen to sign the log.

As I was placing the cache I looked around and wondered, “Where have all the people gone?”

The streets are still here along with the storm drains, driveway aprons, and fire hydrants that stopped working after the city leveled this neighborhood.

When the city of Cleveland expanded the runways of nearby Cleveland Hopkins Airport the noise from the planes was to loud for the residents of this neighborhood. After many meetings with the residents the city bought all of the homes and leveled the area. The place has a strange feeling to it because there were once people living here.

Depending on how you approach the cache site you will have walked thru someones living room, their garage, their kitchen and perhaps even someone’s bedroom.

Now all you’ll find is tall grass, a few trees, and the critters that now call this place home.

Happy hunting!
