Culmstock Beacon Traditional Cache

This cache is a short walk from the beacon it'self As there were no suitable places to put the cache, Can be very muddy, Once on top of the hill the views are stunning.
Culmstock beacon stands 250m above sea level ,Close to a triangulation pillar and on the edge of the blackdown hills. It was used as a communication signal ready for use when the spanish armarda was spotted in the english channel in 1588 .This possibly the only beacon to survive in the country in its original form.
