I thought I'd give my contribution to the Sask. Geotourist challenge by planting another 'Q' cache. Cache is a small camo Lock'n'Lock container hidden in the village of Quinton's sports grounds. On the other side of the fence can be seen the airport and sleigh port. (There was a nice looking winter sleigh there - maybe Santa's secret hide-away is in Quinton!)
After hiding this cache I tried to do some research about this village, but there's not much out there! The population is about 100 people. There is a lovely church in town, basically across the highway from the sports grounds. The town is located about 10km from the Touchwood Hills. And last but not least, the town served as the source of Sargeant Davis Quinton's last name in the TV series Corner Gas.
