Reserve, designed to show people the area. You could make a day of

Situated between the quiet suburbs of Belmont and Valentine by
the Lake, the Green Point Foreshore Reserve has all the features to
make it one of Lake Macquarie’s most scenic and enjoyable
natural attractions for cycling, walking and picnicking.
Originally the site of various mining activities over the past
150 years, the now Council Reserve is undergoing extensive
rehabilitation works to establish it as one of Lake
Macquarie’s foremost natural bushland parks.
There are three possible entries to the cache, one off the end
of Dilkera Avenue, Valentine (shortest). Entry via the concete path
off the end of Green Point Drive or you could use the The Shores
Way where there is a paved carpark. From any of the entries you
have to make your way to "The Foreshore Walk" which is 2km in
length from Dilkera Ave to the Green Point Picnic area.
When you get there take a seat and lounge around whilst enjoying
the view. You might notice Lake Macquarie. Enjoy this hidden
treasure.
