Geocache Description:

Phoenix Park is a hidden gem nestled between the towns of Thurnscoe and Goldthorpe in South Yorkshire. What was once the slagheap for Hickleton main colliery has been transformed into a wonderful community woodland for all to enjoy.

The Above Co-Ords are NOT for the cache but for parking
The site can be enjoyed whether you are walking or cycling. There are a number of features to view including a climbing wall, calved farmyard animals, and an art gallery designed by a local youth group. The site is also home to an abundance of wildlife that thrives on the diversity of habitats that are present on site.
To reach the main cache Pheonix Way Main you need to complete the series. Its best to complete in the correct order.

Cache is small tuppaware box

If using bike rack on roof of car you will not be able to park in car park plenty of roadside parking, Due to Height Restrictor into parking area
