Geocache Description:

This cache is located near the Gueydan Museum, which features exhibits spotlighting local culture as well as changing art shows. There is always something new to see in the museum so step inside for a cup of coffee and a personal tour. Don’t miss the carved tree in the back. The museum was a former bank (1902) and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The upstairs once housed a library, law offices, a dental office, the telephone office, and the White Lake Land Company.
