After the incident with the PoP (Pirates of the Plains) at the Castle (GC1REBR) the Pirates of the Plains series continues. Our sources urge local cachers to infiltrate the local chapter of the PoP, but to do that you must first look the part, and whats better to look the part then to have your own personal parrot?
The first step to finding your own parrot has already been done for you. The coordinates will bring you to the area that the Nebraska Macaw (Ara Nebraskas) (closely related to the Blue-and-Yellow Macaw (Ara ararauna). The Nebraska Macaw is extremely rare and locals say the flock is down to...well almost none. This quest will be to find the last known living Nebraska Parrot. Locals say if you find the rare bird then take note of where it is by writing your name on the log and leave it there for further study then to report back by logging your find on this handy website.
Your mission with this series, if you choose to accept, is to track down the Pirates of the Plains and to find out what "Booty" they are after, possibly the famed Golden Micro or the Legendary Golden Ammo Can (LGAC), but first you must look the part if you are to find the treasure.
