Geocache Description:

This is a 4 stage multi-cache located on the Wilson Ridge Trail in the beautiful, yet rugged Pisgah National Forest. All four cache stages have a turtle theme. This adventure will probably take you a minimum of one hour to complete. This is a moderate hike covering about 1 mile round trip. Be careful and EXPERIENCE THE ODYSSEY!!

This is the eighth cache in the series “All God’s Creatures”, dedicated to the wild and wonderful animal kingdom...

Turtles are reptiles of the order Testudines (the crown-group of the superorder Chelonia), most of whose body is shielded by a special bony or cartilagenous shell developed from their ribs. "Turtle" may either refer to the Testudines as a whole, or to particular Testudines which make up a form taxon that is not monophyletic—see also sea turtle, terrapin and tortoise.

The order Testudines includes both extant (living) and extinct species. The earliest known turtles date from 215 million years ago, making turtles one of the oldest reptile groups and a more ancient group than lizards and snakes. About 300 species are alive today, and some are highly endangered.

Like other reptiles, turtles are ectotherms—varying their internal temperature according to the ambient environment, commonly called cold-blooded. Like other amniotes (reptiles, dinosaurs, birds, and mammals), they breathe air and do not lay eggs underwater, although many species live in or around water. The largest turtles are aquatic..  (from Wikipedia)

***Now, about the cache
The first stage of this multi is a small, nano-sized turtle about the size of the end of an adult thumb.  This could be fairly difficult without the hint or fairly easy with the hint.  The choice is yours.  The cache contains only a small log sheet with the coordinates to the second stage.  The second stage will give you coords and a hint for the third stage and the third stage will give you coords and a hint for the final stage.  None of the stages is more than 50 feet off the main trail.  Absolutely NO BUSHWHACKING IS REQUIRED!!  The final stage is a camoflauged coffee can containing a fair amount of kid-friendly swag.  Each stage of the multi has an average difficulty rating of 2 +/- depending on your experience level.  The first stage will probably be the most difficult due to the size, but that remains to be seen.  I would love it if you included pictures in your post, but please include no spoilers.  Replace all containers as well as, or better than you found it
.

Last, but certainly not least, please CACHE IN AND TRASH OUT.
