This is a fairly easy one, suitable for a kids or those not wanting to walk too far, It is along the new path in the forest just to the left as you walk up the main track from the carpark
The cache is a small round lock and lock.
The name Devilla is said to come from the Gaelic "dubh" and "eilean" meaning "black island". The forest has a long history of occupation and use. Prehistoric coffins, stone circles and Roman urns have been found in different parts of the forest.Devilla Forest is composed chiefly of Scots pine and has an extensive network of paths and forest roads.Devilla is popular with walkers and cyclists.Cycle routes within the forest form part of the Kingdom of Fife Cycle Way.
Devilla forest lies to the north of the river Forth (1 mile east of the village of Kincardine) and to the south of the A907 Alloa to Dunfermline road. The A985 Kincardine Bridge to Dunfermline road runs along the southern edge of the forest and it is from this road that access can be gained.
Please be carefull if you bring kids as the carpark is near a very busy road.
The cache is just a short distance off the path before the denser forest.
It is possible to continue along the path from here on a short circular walk round Bordie Loch to caches at the Standard Stone and Pulpit stone.
