Geocache Description:

This cache is where the "Art of Tacoma" series meets the "Fear This:" series. If puzzles seem alien to you, don't let that deter you. It's really very easy.

* Parking Coordinates: N47 11.532, W122 27.251*

You may wonder how the artwork at this location arrived here. Per Pierce County ordinance, any publically funded structure costing more than $100,000 is obligated to spend one percent of the budget on public art. In this case, "art" may be loosely and oddly defined.

Start out at the parking coordinates. There you will find a sculpture with the unlikely name of "Significant Figures in the Development of Polymers." Enjoy the sculpture and be sure to read the descriptive plaque, taking note of a prominent date.

Next, go the posted coordinates where you will find the cache container, entering the small wooded area from the driveway near the lake. Be warned that the aliens will not be pleased if you go to the cache without visiting them first.
