Thomson Lake Regional Park came about when the PFRA dammed the historic Wood River in 1958. Dr Thomson, who initiated the project, visualized that the new man-made lake could provide recreational facilities. Thomson Lake Regional Park has become one of the most used recreational spots in this part of the Province. The cache is in a Regional Park so a park pass or a daily pass will be required in the summer months!
