Geocache Description:

Should be an easy find in an obvious spot in a suburban park.

Due to my advancing age, I (and my doctor) am concerned about the possibility of my experiencing a medical situation while on the road to Maintain one or more of my 120 GC Geocaches and 50 GCA Geocaches.

If you live near this Geocache, or regularly travel near it, you might be interested in Adopting this Geocache (or more of mine). Please let me (WanderingAus) know by Message at
Geocaching Message Center
if you are interested, including the cache code or codes
(e.g GC1RHQM for this cache).

Due to the temporary nature of pens and pencils in my geocaches
BRING YOUR OWN WRITING IMPLEMENT!!!

This cache is located in Hawker Park, which just means it's on Hawker Avenue. The park has a fairly good strip of remnant bushland beside a playing field. There is plenty of parking not far away from the cache. Stealth will be essential after school hours and on weekends, as this area is very popular with the local young'uns.

To get to the cache from the Parking Waypoint, walk behind the two small buildings, and follow the low fence to your right until it bends sharply around in a fairly clear grassed area. From there you can head straight for the cache without crossing a fence. There is one large fallen tree on your way, you are heading for the next fallen tree.

The cache is now a drab camouflaged 65mm diameter 155mm high round screw-top container, with log book, finders cards, pen, two pencils, sharpener, and a few small swaps.

It is hidden behind a large fallen tree, covered with grass tree pieces, and leaf litter. Please hide it and cover it as well as you found it. This is not the largest fallen tree, but there is a large grass tree next to it, and it is between the log and the grass tree.

This cache is part of a series leading towards my GC1RN04 WanAus 103 - Bonus Box cache. There is a BB number in the back of the log book. You will need to record this number in the format 102? (from WanAus 102 and ? for the BB number) for future reference.

This is just a suggestion, but it may help you to keep track of the BB numbers.
Every cache page has "*Personal Cache Note" *Click to enter a note, just above Geocache Description:
You could either add the code to each individual cache,
or add all numbers to GC1RN04 WanAus 103 - Bonus Box.

When trading items please consider trading up or trading even and leaving items that you would want to find, and please don't take the pen, pencils or sharpener. If you can't trade up or trade even I don't mind seeing TNLNSL in the log. Also please don't put the pen or pencils in the log book bag, it tends to destroy the watertight integrity.

Trackables (geocoins and travel bugs) are not tradeable items. Please feel free to take them without making a trade, but please leave a note in the logbook and your online log, and do log them online.
