You will have a chance to meet Tyratine, Snorkeling Rodent,
Rattenschwanz, Cora, Ratfink and Rat's nest. Unfortunately, our
newest rat's, Ratpunzel, and her mate, , RATchet, won't be in
attendance due to family obligations on the Saco River. We will
have two new Rats attending, Willard the PackRAT & Dirty Rat
.(a.k.a. Canoe Couple )
When: Saturday, June 20th from 9:00 - 10:00 am
Where: Powder Mill Boat Launch
(N 42° 57.347 W 071° 56.188)
Why: So that cachers and muggle friends can get together
at one of the River Rats favorite river banks to meet and greet
other cachers, stay for a picnic, fish, swim, kayak, and canoe.
Details: There is a nice water front area to set up
chairs, blankets, tables, etc. There are opportunities to try a
kayak or canoe if you have never have before and always wanted to
(come on, don't miss out on this fun time adventure!).
Port-A-Potty's are on site.
Pets are welcome. Of course, there will be a raffle for all
attendees. Thank-you to 76-CJ7 (Mary and Darin) for their donation
of a cool
geocoin to the raffle!!! After the event we will be releasing
the info and cords for many new caches which can be retrieved by
land or by water!

Update June 8th:
The Rat Pack have been very busy placing MANY caches along one of
their favorite hangouts this past weekend. The new caches will be
released AFTER the Meet and Greet.
Kayak Kouple have donated " Looks like Rain, Deer " GEOCOIN and a
back pack to the raffle. (will try to post picture).
Another Update - June 11:
About
13(16) caches will be released after the Meet and Greet so that
everyone can enjoy a nice paddle of 'Caching and Kayaking/Canoeing'
on the Powder Mill Pond !
Remember to bring a lunch if you plan to stop on the Powder Mill
Pond Island ( yes the Rats have placed a cache or 2 here
too).
Yes, some will be accessable by land (there are land rats in this
bunch ! )
