The Cuthies & Max: In the area doing maitenance and upon checking this one it would appear having survived floating in the stream a couple of times, being moved from one end to another, the cache has finally been claimed by the elements.

As this is on a slight spur to the main walk, we will archive. Thanks to the large number of visitors over the 3 yrs 8 months its been out there.

Geocache Description:

This was one of the original Max's Favourite walk caches. The walk has be refreshed Sept 2011 and this is now slightly off the main route but only slightly so easy enough to include. Cache has been found floating in the water a number of times. So No new Smiley here if you did the original series i'm afraid so no need to detour to it. 12 caches now 5 original and 7 new making up Max’s Favourite walk on a sort of figure of 8 walk of just over 3 miles on pleasant paths and country lanes around Packwood House.

Please replace caches exactly as found, in particular the slightly unusual ones!!! Don't forget a Pen.

Bridge
If heading from Gateway off the road, walk on a half right diagonal to pass through metal kissing gate and continue forward to cache. Afterwards for Wooden fence retrace steps then from gateway head straight down field from road to cache.
