This is a nice hike up a steep paved hill. You can drive, but
why drive? This spot is another great view from the North shore of
the islands. It is about 311 ft above sea level over looking the
both sides of the island. On a clear day you can see Vieques PR,
St. Thomas and St John U.S. Virgin Islands and the BVI. Looking
South you can see Hovensa, Carambola Golf Course, and the expansive
greenry (after the rain) of mid-island. The road was built on by a
speculator(s) wanting to sell hillside homes with a spectacular
view. They did not know about St. Croix permitting process... It
lays partially undeveloped and overgrown by the wonderful bush of
St. Croix.
The cache lies up alongside the road. Should no problems finding
it. It has a lot of stuff in it and one travel bug. The initial
inventory:
- 1 postcard of an Iquana
- sea shells
- Obama button
- DR $20 bill
- EC Coins
- $1 Divi Marina Bay Slot Machine Coin
(Share your winnings with me)
This is "Positive Is How I Live" Travel Bug's initial cache.
Travel well and wide "Positive".
